Yesterday, many of you may have heard the Ohio Governor talk about the new “Stay at Home” order for nonessential businesses that will go into effect midnight today (3/23/2020).
Since DataServ is an IT services company and we do provide critical services to our customers, we are considered “essential” according to the government and, therefore, we have duties to continue working and providing services in relation to this order. So, what does that mean? It means that we understand you rely on our services for critical infrastructure support, communications, along with secure local and remote access to your systems; therefore, it is vital that we continue to find the best and safest ways to serve you during this time of need.
Our organization has been operating under our emergency response plan over the past few weeks and, as of today, the majority of our team members are supporting you from home offices. We also continue to support our Resource as a Service (RaaS) customers and are supporting them in a fashion individualized to their needs. In addition, we will continue to have essential staff in place in Westlake to handle inventory and shipment needs to support you. For those critical projects, work is still being accomplished mostly from remote and, if needed, we may come on-site if you advise us that no known COVID-19 cases have been reported in that building.
Certainly, these are unprecedented times that require real-time adjustments as conditions change. And please rest assured that we take our responsibility to serve you very seriously and our team is following guidelines for both hygiene and social distancing. In addition, we are very diligent and have requested that our team members check their temperatures every morning and report if their temperature is above 100.4.
Also, we respectfully request that you please advise us expeditiously and directly if there was any potential that our team members could have been in contact or exposed during our work together, as we will certainly do the same.
Please let us know if you have any questions by emailing us at email@example.com.
As always, should you need support, please log a ticket at https://www.dataservtech.com/support/ or call (800) 977-3282.
