DataServ is pleased to announce that, effective January 1, 2022, Tim Heikkila has been promoted to President.

Tim has been with DataServ for 9 years, as a result of DataServ’s merger with the Skoda Minotti Technology Partner group in 2013. He had previously been with Skoda Minotti since 1998. Tim transitions from serving as DataServ’s Executive Director of Information Systems and Technology, which had him overseeing all engineering activities, including installation, managed services and support.

Tim is a graduate of Kent State University and is a proud Cleveland area resident. Tim and his wife, Jen, have two boys, Tyler (14) and Gavin (12). In his free time, Tim and his family keep busy with outdoor activities, including camping, swimming and golf. Tim is also a CrossFit enthusiast and enjoys competing in the sport. He volunteers in his community by serving as a coach for youth sports.

“I’m excited to have someone of Tim’s caliber and integrity as President,” says Karl H. Seiler, CEO and Co-Founder of DataServ. “Tim is a natural leader, not to mention a lifelong learner of information systems and technology. And, given his long-standing service and commitment to our team, I’m confident that he is the right leader to manage DataServ into the next decade. I will continue forward with CEO responsibilities, including strategic initiatives and relationships for the company.”

Heikkila says, “I’ve watched how our team has supported the digital transformation of our customers, empowering them to focus on their core business, while we manage their technology as a utility. No matter the challenge, our team adapts to every occasion to deliver excellent services and true partnerships to our customers. Even with exciting new opportunities on the horizon,” Heikkila adds, “that commitment to unparalleled service, true relationships, and deep expertise remains the foundation of who we are as DataServ. I’m committed to being the steward that carries DataServ’s legacy of ‘care, coach and lead’ forward.”
